Han Jun completed Ph.D. at Northwest A&F University in 1989, and worked for Rural Development Center of the State Council. In 1990 and 2000, he worked for Rural Development Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He began his career in Development Research Center of the State Council in 2001 as Director-general of the Research Development of Rural Economy of DRC. In Oct. 2008, He became a member of Leading Party Group of Development Research Center of the State Council. And in Oct. 2010, he worked as Vice President (Vice Minister), Development Research Center of the State Council. In 2012, he was elected as a delegate tothe18th National Congress of CPC. In Oct. 2014, he became Vice Minister of the Office of the Central Leading Group on Financial and Economic Affairs and Vice Minister of the Office of Central Rural Work Leading Group. In Oct. 2015, he became Vice Director of the State Council Leading Group of Poverty Alleviation and Development. In Feb. 2017, he became Party Secretary of the Office of the Central Leading Group on Financial and Economic Affairs. From Apr. 2017, he started to work as the Minister of the Office of Central Rural Work Leading Group. In 2017, he was elected as a delegate to the 19th National Congress of CPC. He was part of report drafting for “Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th and 19th National Congress of CPC” and the Central Document No.1since 2004. He was awarded with four Sun-Yefang Economics Scholarship. His social positions include doctoral supervisor of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, adjunct professor of Tsinghua University. Now he is Vice Minister of the Office of Central Rural Work Leading Group, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
