Wang Min has been the head of XCMG Group for 20 years, taking up the role in 1999. Since then, he has turned the then struggling state-owned enterprise into a RMB100 billion China No. 1 and global top 6 construction machinery giant, with an unwavering commitment to reform and innovation.

In recent years which have seen the industry languishing in the doldrums, he has initiated the Group's business transformation and overseas expansion, embarking on the path of quality-driven development. In his inspection visit to the Group on December 12, 2017, CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping spoke highly of XCMG as a modern state-owned enterprise which has carved out a unique path of development for itself.

Wang Min was a deputy to the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th CPC National Congress. He is president of Jiangsu Enterprise Directors Association and a National Model Worker.
