Wang Wenbiao

Chairman, Elion Resources Group Business Circle

Mr. WANG Wenbiao (1959–), president and founder of Elion Resources Group in China, is an outstanding global entrepreneur in combating desertification. He has dedicated 30 years working in the Kubuqi Desert, the 7th largest desert located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. Under his leadership, Elion has made 66,000 hectares of the desert into a lush, green oasis and has also developed a forest belt(242 km in length and 20km in width) to protect the Yellow River while mitigating the threat of sand storms to China's Capital City, Beijing.
