Mark Yang

CEO, CARS Group Business Circle

Yang Haoyong is the CEO of CARS Group, the founder of Guazi.com, Maodou.com and Ganji.com. Meanwhile, he currently holds the position of joint-founder of Hike Capital.


Known as the navigator of China’s automotive service industry, CARS Group owns the renowned brands Guazi Used Cars and Maodou New Cars. The Group is a one-stop facilitator that provides a comprehensive range of convenient, high-end and up-to-date retail services of both new and used vehicles based on automotive whole life cycle, covering trade, evaluation, pricing, financing, insurance and warranty.


Yang is also a joint-founder of Hike Capital, a continuous developing mentor fund for new entrepreneurs. The fund primarily focuses on PreA-A rounds of investments covering technology innovations, general entertainment & lifestyle and e-commercial platforms.


Yang launched Ganji.com in 2005 and took Ganji to the lead of China's classifieds advertisements websites not long after. The assessed market value of Ganji reached 3.6 billion as it announced to merge with 58.com in April 2015.


Before going back to China, Yang used to work with Juniper Networks, one of the world's largest cyber security companies located in Silicon Valley, as one of the core development team members. He also started his own business Tromphi Networks back then.


Yang completed his Bachelor's Degree in Tianjin University, majoring Precision Instrument. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Yale, and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China.
