Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC), founded in June 28, 2005, is a large state-controlled joint-stock company headquartered in CBD of Guangzhou with more than 113,000 staff. GAC is the first state-owned automobile group in China listed in both Hong Kong and Shanghai Stock Exchanges. Its predecessor, Guangzhou Automobile Group Ltd., was founded in June 1997.

GAC has gained a position in Fortune Global 500 list for six consecutive years since 2013. In 2018, GAC ranked No. 202nd in Fortune Global 500, No. 45 in Top 500 Chinese enterprises.
