Wen Guohui

Mayor, Guangzhou Municipal People's Government Local Government

Born in September, 1963, Mr. Wen Guohui is from Jiexi, Guangdong Province. He began his first job in July, 1984, and joined CPC in June, 1984. He holds a Master degree in Engineering. Mr. Wen Guohui graduated from Guangdong Ocean University, where he got a degree of Bachelor of Engineering, and South China University of Technology, where he was awarded his postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Mr. Wen Guohui is currently Deputy Party Secretary of CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Guangzhou. Before that, he served as Vice Governor of Guangdong Province in 2015, CPC Party Secretary of Guangdong’s Shanwei Municipality in 2013, Director General of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong People’s Government in 2009 and that of Department of Information Industry of Guangdong in 2007.
