Zheng Zhijie

Mr. Zheng Zhijie is a Senior Economist, holding a PhD in economics. He is Vice Chairman and President of the China Development Bank Corporation (CDB).

Mr. Zheng started his professional career in 1977. He joined the Beijing Branch of the China Construction Bank (CCB) in 1982 and then successively held positions as Vice President (1992-1997) and President (1997-2001) of the CCB Beijing Branch, CCB Assistant President (2000-2001) and CCB Vice President (2001-2004). From 2004 to 2008, he was President of China Jianyin Investment Ltd. In October 2008, he joined CDB and took the positions of Executive Director and Vice President. He has been CDB Vice Chairman and President since November 2012.
