Jin Qi

Chairman, Silk Road Fund Business Circle

Jin Qi, Chairwoman of Silk Road Fund since January 2015, when the Fund was officially launched.

Before joining Silk Road Fund, Ms. Jin was Assistant Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), where she worked for 30 years. Beginning from 1994, Ms. Jin assumed a number of senior positions within PBOC, including Deputy Director-General of Foreign Financial Institutions Department, Director General of the International Department (a.k.a. Office of Hong Kong, Macao SARs and Taiwan Affairs), and Director General of the General Administration Department. From 2000 to 2002, Ms. Jin worked at the International Monetary Fund in the capacity of Alternate Executive Director for China.

Ms. Jin holds a Master’s degree in Economics.
