Dai Houliang

President, China Petrochemical Corporation Business Circle

Mr. Dai Houliang is President of Sinopec Group, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Sinopec Corp. He holds a doctor’s degree and is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is also an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

In December 2003, Mr. Dai was appointed Chairman and President of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd., and served concurrently as Chairman of BASF-Yangzi Chemical Co., Ltd. from December 2004 to September 2005. In September 2005, he was appointed Deputy CFO of Sinopec Corp. and became Senior Vice President of CFO of Sinopec Corp. in May 2006. In May 2016, he was appointed President of Sinopec Group and has been Vice Chairman and President of Sinopec Corp. since August 2016.
