‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Dr. Fu is Chairman of China Resources Group, member of the National Committee of the 12th, 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), council member and the Vice Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) China Business Council, Honorary President of Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, and Board member of WKCDA. Dr. Fu is also Chairman of China Resources Pharmaceutical. Dr. Fu was previously Chairman of China Merchants Group, Chairman of China Merchants Bank listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chairman of China Merchants Holdings (International) listed at Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Independent Non-executive Director of CapitalLand listed at Singapore Stock Exchange, and Independent Non-executive Director of Hong Kong Li & Fung listed at Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Dr. Fu was a graduate of Dalian University of Technology in China. Later he went to the United Kingdom to pursue further studies and got his PhD in Marine Engineering Mechanics from Brunel University in 1986.‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
