Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, we’ve received video messages from CDF delegates who expressed their support to China.

Today’s video is from Yousef Al-Benyan，Vice Chairman and CEO of SABIC, and Chair of the B20 Saudi Arabia.

He said:“We believe that China’s examples of action, compassion and innovation will benefit the world. Most importantly—and as evidenced by China’s leadership during the outbreak—we will remind the world about the importance of collaboration to address today’s issues head-on.”

SABIC was quick to respond with an eight million yuan donation to help hospitals in Hubei as they battled the virus.

Hello, my dear friends.

I’m Yousef Al-Benyan, Vice Chairman and CEO of SABIC, and Chair of the B20 Saudi Arabia.

On behalf of SABIC, I want to share a message of solidarity with those impacted by this global pandemic, and condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives to the novel coronavirus.

We at SABIC have pledged our support and encouragement for everybody affected by the virus since the outbreak started early this year.

I am inspired by the extraordinary efforts made by the Chinese authorities and the personal sacrifices made by the Chinese people in order to contain this crisis.

As a result, we are now witnessing significant progress and encouraging signs of recovery, which SABIC is proud to have been a part of.

SABIC was quick to respond with an eight million yuan donation to help hospitals in Hubei as they battled the virus.

And we have since been supporting the urgent productions of personal hygiene and healthcare products as well as medical equipments that SABIC materials are used.

But now, countries around the world are facing a stark reality as the virus spreads.

And as we did - and continue to do - with China, SABIC extends our support and offers our innovative solutions to the broader global community.

As a world-leading diversified chemical company, SABIC manufactures products that are fundamental to improving our quality of life and touches almost all aspects of our daily life.

We will continue to supply our products to meet global demand, just as we will continue to monitor the coronavirus globally to identify how can SABIC help at the most.
