The CDF will continue to play an important role in bringing organizations and governments together as China becomes even more integrated into our global community. The following is the full speech.

On behalf of everyone at Manulife I'd like to offer special thanks to the heroes on the frontline in China for their tireless efforts to safeguard public health during the recent outbreak of the corona virus. The bravery and resilience demonstrated by the doctors, volunteers, and many others has been incredible.

Like so many people in China our team on the ground is doing everything it can to support our customers, our teams, and the people of China. Their safety is our top priority.

Since the outbreak we've increased our support to customers. I'm incredibly proud of the professionalism and tenacity that our team has shown during this difficult time.

Manulife has more than eighteen thousand employees and agents and more than two million customers in China and it's a country which holds a special place in our heart, having sold our first insurance policy in Shanghai in 1897.

To further support the community and those impacted we made donations to those in need especially in the city of Wuhan.

Globally we're reminded of the importance of our own health and health of our loved ones and that's why Manulife Sinochem is committed to helping support our customers lead healthier lives for the future.

Manulife stands with you. Wuhan Jiayou. China Jiayou.
