Harald Krüger

Chairman of the Board of Management, BMW AG Business Circle

Mr. Krüger was born in Freiburg (Germany) in 1965 and studied engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig and RWTH Aachen. After two years as research assistant at the Institute of Flight System Dynamics at the German Aerospace Centre, he joined BMW AG in 1992 as a trainee. After serving as project engineer at Plant Spartanburg (USA) for two years, he filled various executive management functions at BMW AG in Munich (Germany) and Hams Hall (UK) from 1995 to 2008. In December 2008, he was appointed Member of the Board of Management, consecutively being responsible for Human Resources, then for MINI, BMW Motorcycles, Rolls-Royce and Aftersales and, last but not least, for Production. Since May 2015, Mr. Krüger has held the position as Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG.
