Ben Keswick was appointed Managing Director of Jardine Matheson in April 2012 and Executive Chairman in January 2019. He has held a number of executive positions since joining the Group in 1998, including finance director and then chief executive officer of Jardine Pacific between 2003 and 2007 and, thereafter, group managing director of Jardine Cycle & Carriage until March 2012.
Mr Keswick is the Chairman of Jardine Strategic, Jardine Cycle & Carriage and a commissioner of Astra. He is also Chairman and Managing director of Dairy Farm, Hongkong Land and Mandarin Oriental. In Decemeber 2018 he was appointed as Chairman of Yonghui Superstores.
Mr Keswick’s other appointments include membership of Chongqing Mayor’s International Economic Advisory Council. He also chairs MINDSET, the Jardine Matheson Group’s in-house charity dedicated to the cause of mental health.
Mr Keswick graduated from Newcastle University, UK in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural
Economics and Food Marketing. He attended INSEAD, where he received his Master of Business Administration in 2002.
