A.P. Moller - Maersk is an integrated container logistics company headquartered in Denmark with more than 70,000 employees and offices in 130 countries, providing services for container transportation, logistics, terminal operations and other activities related to shipping.


A.P. Moller - Maersk was established in 1904, and has served China’s foreign trade for 95 years with nearly 118 offices and 9,000 employees in China.


Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping company, is represented in 34 locations with vessel calls at all major ports in China every day.  Damco Freight Forwarding provides our customers with transportation and logistics solutions, running offices in 20 locations. APM Terminals, the world’s 3rd largest terminal operator, jointly owns and operates 10 terminals in China. Since late 1996, 144 large ocean-going vessels have been ordered from the Chinese shipyards at an accumulated value of USD 5 billion. Other than vessel ordering, our total purchase in China in 2018 was around USD 2.9 billion.
