Pierre Beaudoin

Chairman of the Board, Bombardier Inc. Business Circle

Pierre Beaudoin is the Chairman of the Board of Bombardier Inc.


Mr. Beaudoin studied industrial relations at McGill University in Montréal before beginning his career as Canadian Customer Service Manager for BIC Sport Inc. He joined Bombardier’s Marine Products Division in 1985, was named Vice President of Product Development for Bombardier’s Sea-Doo/Ski-Doo Division in 1990, Executive Vice President of the same division in 1992, and President in 1994. In April 1996, Mr. Beaudoin was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier’s Recreational Products Group with operational responsibility for six product lines: marine products (Sea-Doo watercraft and sport boats), snowmobiles (the Ski-Doo product line), Bombardier ATVs, the Bombardier NV, utility vehicles, and Bombardier-Rotax engine facility located in Austria.


In February 2001, Mr. Beaudoin assumed duties as President of the Business Aircraft Division at Bombardier Aerospace. He was named President and COO of Bombardier Aerospace in October that same year, where he took over responsibility for all operations and product divisions of the Corporation’s aerospace business. During his tenure, he built a world-class culture by emphasizing customer focus, employee engagement and continuous improvement. He also led the program launch of Bombardier’s largest commercial aircraft, the CSeries mainliners.


Pierre Beaudoin was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier Inc. in June 2008 and Chairman of Bombardier Inc. in February 2015.


He is a member of the Board of Directors of Power Corporation of Canada.
