Tim Cook

CEO, Apple Co-Chair

As Apple’s chief executive, Tim Cook has introduced the world to innovative new products and services including iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch, iPad Pro, Apple Pay, Apple Music and Air Pods.  Most recently with iOS 11, Siri includes the ability to translate English into Mandarin and the Camera app now includes built-in support for scanning QR codes.


He is leading a companywide effort to use entirely renewable energy, and Apple is now powering all of its facilities in China with 100 percent clean energy. Apple is committed to helping its suppliers in China, and around the world, make the same clean energy transition, and is working with its manufacturing partners to install 2 gigawatts of new clean energy in China by 2020. Through a partnership with WWF, the company is protecting up to one million acres of China’s responsibly managed working forests.


Apple is responsible for creating and supporting millions of jobs in China. Over 1.8 million of those jobs are attributable to the community of app creators, software engineers and entrepreneurs building apps for iOS.


Apple has ranked #1 on Fortune magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies for the past eleven years, including each year Tim has been CEO. Tim earned an MBA Duke, where he was a Fuqua Scholar, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Auburn University.
