Established on December 29, 2002, State Grid Corporation of China takes the investment, construction and operation of power grids as core business. We are committed to re-electrification and energy connectivity, meeting the power demand with clean and green alternatives. State Grid is known as a global leading innovative enterprise with technical breakthroughs in UHV transmission, smart grid and large grid security etc. We are proud to put 10 UHVAC and 8 UHVDC projects into operation, install 450 million smart meters and build the world largest smart service platform of EVs that integrated over 170,000 charging poles, contributing the rapid development of EVs. We also own the world record in safe operation of super large grid with no major blackouts in the past 3 decades.

Our grid has integrated the largest amount of clean energy generation. By the end of 2017, the integrated installed capacity of hydro, wind and solar reached 220GW, 150GW and 120GW respectively, fostering the energy transition, economic growth and sustainable development.
