UC RUSAL’s way of doing business is characterised by an innovative and environmentally friendly approach. The Company has its core smelting operations located in Russia, Siberia, benefiting from access to renewable sources of clean hydropower. Over 90% of UC RUSAL’s aluminum is produced using environmentally friendly hydro generated power without any harmful emissions as the Company aims to have the best CO2 footprint in the industry.

In November 2017, UC RUSAL launched its new low carbon aluminium brand – ALLOW, which features a significantly lower carbon footprint as compared to the industry average.
