The 10th annual session of China Development Forum was held on March 21st-23rd in the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing. Over 300 participants, including multinational CEOs, representatives of major international organizations, renowned overseas scholars as well as government officials, business executives and academic representatives of China, attended the Forum. Premier Wen Jiabao met with the important participants and listened carefully to their suggestions and comments on economic issues raised at the Forum. Vice Premier Li Keqiang came to the opening ceremony and delivered an important speech.

The theme of this year’s Forum is “China’s Development and Reform in the Global Financial Crisis”. Following the three-day agenda, participants conducted in-depth discussions on possible evolution of the financial crisis, responses of the governments, the impact on China and its fiscal and monetary policies, making the Forum productive and fruitful.
