Paul Bulcke

Chairman Designated, Nestlé S.A. Business Circle

　　Mr. Paul Bulcke is a Board Member and Chairman Designate of Nestlé S.A. He was Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2016. Mr. Bulcke joined Nestlé in 1979 as a Marketing Trainee. From 1980 to 1996, he worked in Marketing, Sales and Division Functions at Nestlé Peru, Ecuador and Chile. From 1996, Mr. Bulcke was subsequently appointed Market Head of Nestlé Portugal, Czech and Slovak Republic, and Germany. He became an Executive Vice President of the Nestle Group in 2004, responsible for Zone Americas. Mr. Bulcke is a Board Member of Roche Holding Ltd., a Board Member of the Consumer Goods Forum, and a Member of the World Economic Forum International Business Council, etc. Mr. Bulcke has a Commercial Engineer degree from University of Louvain, as well as a Post Graduate degree in Management from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School of Belgium. He also completed Program for Executive Development at MD Switzerland. Mr. Bulcke is Belgian and was born in 1954. He is married with three children.
