Peter Kasper Jakobsen

President & CEO, Mead Johnson Nutrition Company Business Circle

Kasper Jakobsen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mead Johnson Nutrition, a 110-year-old company that is a global leader in pediatric nutrition since April 2013. In 2012, he served as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. From 2009 - 2011, Mr. Jakobsen served as MJN President – Americas.

Mr. Jakobsen joined Mead Johnson in 1998 to lead the Asia marketing effort. From 2001 - 2004, he served as General Manager of Mead Johnson’s Philippines operations, before being promoted to Vice President & General Manager – South East Asia business in 2004. In mid-2006, Mr. Jacobsen’s responsibilities were expanded with a promotion to Senior Vice President & General Manager – Asia Pacific, which added overall accountability for the company’s Greater China business operations to his responsibilities.

Prior to joining Mead Johnson Nutrition, Mr. Jakobsen worked for nearly a decade for Unilever PLC in various marketing roles across the Asia Pacific region. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Born and raised in Denmark, Mr. Jakobsen holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Auckland University in New Zealand.
