The China Development Forum (CDF) 2026 will be held in Beijing on 22-23 March 2026. The theme of the year is “China in Its 15th Five-Year Plan Period：Advancing High-Quality Development and Creating New Opportunities Together”.
The forum will feature 13 thematic symposiums, focusing on issues including macro policies and high-quality development, new trends and opportunities in consumption growth, global green and low-carbon transition and sustainable development, Healthy China 2030 and big health industry development, opportunities and challenges of demographic change and economic growth, new energy industry development and international cooperation, technological innovation and future industry development, digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing, addressing uncertainty: global risks and growth opportunities and enhancing cooperation, financial innovation for high-quality development, AI industrial application, high-level opening-up of service sector, AI governance: challenges and cooperation. Several closed-door sessions will also be held at the CDF.
